Start with a deep clean and declutter

Nothing lifts a home's appeal faster or cheaper than making it spotless and spacious. Clear counters, thin out closets, and pack away the things you won't need before you move. Buyers need to picture their life in the space, and clutter gets in the way.

Fix the small stuff

Buyers notice the little things: a dripping faucet, a scuffed wall, a sticky door, a burned-out bulb. Individually they're minor. Together they whisper "deferred maintenance." Make it bright and neutral
